NRG Riverside

NRG Riverside approached Brendeck to offer a solution for pre-MOT inspection underbody washing of vehicles. The written scope of works was based on using a STERTYL lift for manual underbody washing. Due to the complexity of the site layout Brendeck’s design and scope of works consisted of the following parameters:

Create a Washbay suitable for a STERTYL lift with adequate drainage to take away the vehicle residue.

Install a 10000-litre class one three stage interceptor, 40 metres of drainage run and create a new branch with manhole cover into the existing foul sewer.

A GRP plantroom was installed to house the Electric Pressure Washer, Cat 5 specification water tank, chemical container, distribution board, internal lighting, and frost protection.

An internal stainless steel automatic hose reel with a remote on/off control was positioned in the washbay, with direct connection to the Electric Pressure Washer.

The Washbay was encased in a three-sided screen which was structural steel calculated based on the site location and various other conditions.

Internal Washbay lighting was fitted for operation of the facility during winter months.
