At Brendeck we have steadily been building our company to become a market leader in our field. This has not happened overnight in fact it has taken over 30 years! In this time we have earned, and are proud of our reputation for being a reliable, innovative and a trustworthy partner to our extensive client base for over three decades.
Our ethos is to employ highly committed people who either come with a vast amount of industry knowledge or are willing to be trained “the Brendeck way”. As Directors of Brendeck we are very proud of the team we have nurtured, developed and supported, many of which have in excess of 20 years dedicated service within company, all delivering a consistent service to our clients.
All of this experience can be seen by the innovative and cost effective solutions we deliver to our clients. Our excellent and knowledgeable customer service team are the backbone of our company always available to answer any questions, always prompt at arranging service calls, often offering very technical answers to your questions immediately
Meet The Team
Alan Taylor, Managing Director
In 1981 I was instrumental in creating the company Brendeck, my aspirations were to create a market leader in the Vehicle Wash Industry. Having been in the industry for many years I feel I bring stability, enthusiasm and experience to the management team, as a hands on Managing Director our company benefits from being a respected supplier in the industry.
I would like to feel my entrepreneurial expertise rubs off on my team allowing the business to operate with or without me. I am proud of the personal service we give our clients and I feel it’s my responsibility to service our clients like I would expect myself.
My team are; passionate, enthusiastic, professional with honesty and integrity.
Iain McIlwain, Sales Director
As the company’s Sales Director it’s my responsibility to align our company sales force with the ever changing Vehicle Wash Industry, from introducing new Vehicle Wash Systems that deliver operational advantages to our clients through to keeping an eye on new technologies in the industry.
Having spent over 20 years in our industry. I feel I am ideally placed to position Brendeck in the market competitively, guaranteeing exceptional products backed up by excellent service delivered by a committed team of industry experts. At Brendeck we have created a family of experts all working together for the benefit of the clients. We pride ourselves on building long term partnerships with our clients and enjoy our reputation of a can do company in the industry.
Sharon Brookes, Office & Financial Manager
I am a relative newcomer to Brendeck having joined the company earlier in the year (2020), however I do bring over 20 years’ experience as an Office and Financial Manager which includes working in both this country and also in France and South Africa.
I pride myself on my customer service skills and building a good rapport with our customer’s to ensure our excellent service continues.
I see myself as an integral part of the already successful Brendeck team and I am excited for the future.
Dan Taylor, Director
I joined Brendeck mid-2020 having graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2019 and spending a year in sales. I was greatly appreciative for the opportunity to join the sales team for a market leading company with the credentials that Brendeck has.
As a director for the company, it is my responsibility to continuously develop new customer relationships and ensure our current customers always receive the upmost service and respect. It is also my responsibility to keep up to date with the ever-evolving technologies within our industry, therefore to provide a better consultative approach for our customers.
I am passionate and enthusiastic about my role and I am excited to help pioneer Brendeck’s future.
David Wall, Service Coordinator
I was offered a fantastic opportunity in 2012 to join the Brendeck team as the Stores Supervisor where I was given responsibility for the supply of parts as well as making sure they are delivered on time, guaranteeing our clients continuity of service through a readily available supply of stock. It is part of my remit to liaise with our regional engineering team generating service reports and estimates.
My expertise is being able to turn my hand to any general day to day problems, I can generally be relied upon to create a solution to a problem.
Andy Errington, Operations Manager
I Joined Brendeck in 2022 after being in the Logistics FM world for over 30 years. I bring with me a wealth of experience and understanding of how the logistics industry works from a service point of view. My role within Brendeck is to drive the service provision forward making us best in class and able to deliver market leading service to both our established and new customers.
Ellie Shawcroft, Office Administrator
I have only been working at Brendeck since mid 2022, however I have been warmly welcomed by both staff and customers. Before joining Brendeck, I’ve had 3 years of experience around administration, so I was able to quickly learn the specific aspects of this role and fit well into the company.
I enjoy building the relationships I have with our customers, to ensure they get the best experience with us. I pride myself on my telephone manner and how quickly I work to resolve any issues that may arise.
John Shelton, Project Manager
I have joined Brendeck as they are the market leader in commercial vehicle wash systems. I bring a vast knowledge of engineering & installation from the military right through to the construction world.
I look forward to working with Brendecks customers on projects and keeping the installations to the highest of levels.
